DEN Services

Denver International Airport (DEN) offers a variety of services to make your time in the terminal as comfortable as possible. From free Wi-Fi, device charging, and family spaces, to VIP lounges, art exhibits, and unique local shops, this airport aims to balance functionality with a touch of experience.

However, there are also points worth considering: some services are crowded, others are expensive, and there are limitations that could affect your time between flights. In this guide, we tell you what works well and what you should avoid or plan for in advance.

❓ Quick questions to make the most of DEN's services

  • Where can I rest or relax? 🛏️ VIP lounges, quiet areas with outlets, and the Westin Denver Airport.
  • Can you eat well without overpaying? 🍴 Solid option: Caribou Coffee. Avoid places with reviews citing slowness like Smashburger.
  • Where can I charge my phone? 🔌 There are USB stations and outlets in the Jeppesen Terminal and concourses A, B, and C.
  • Are there nursing rooms? 🤱 Yes, private and secure rooms after the security checkpoint. Accessed with a code.

🍽️ During your stay

DEN has many food and beverage options in all concourses, including cafes, bars, and fast food. Travelers praise places like Caribou Coffee for their quality and speed. Others like Blue Sky Bar offer a relaxed atmosphere for long layovers, although service can vary. Note: reviews indicate that Smashburger has high prices and considerable delays, even for simple orders.

As for shopping, there is a wide variety of stores for clothing, gifts, beauty, electronics, souvenirs, and local products like Björn’s Colorado Honey, a recommended stop for those looking for something authentic and different.

🏨 Nearby Accommodations

There are no hotels inside the terminal, but the Westin Denver International Airport hotel is located right above the Transit Center. It's ideal if you miss a flight or have a connection the next day. It offers 519 rooms, direct access to the train to Denver, and services like a pool, fitness center, and restaurant.

⚠️ Users highlight its convenience but criticize details like a lack of chargers, noise in hallways, and inconsistent treatment at reception. Book in advance during high season.

💳 Financial services

  • ATMs: Provided by Canvas Credit Union. They are in the Jeppesen Terminal and concourses A, B, and C.
  • Currency Exchange: Service provided by World Wide Money Exchange. Three locations in the Terminal and concourses A and B.

  • Portable Oxygen Containers (POCs) must meet FAA requirements and have prior approval from your airline.
  • For more information on the types of medical devices and medications that can pass through security, access TSA Cares.

🚰 Refill stations

Each concourse has reusable bottle refill stations, part of the airport's sustainability commitment. ♻️ Tip: don't throw away your bottle after passing security.

🛋️ VIP Lounges

Various options depending on the airline and membership:

  • Capital One Lounge: Excellent food, premium coffee, and grab-and-go options, but frequently overcrowded.
  • Delta Sky Club: Limited space, no internal restrooms, and basic services. Friendly staff.
